RubyPlay debuts innovative in-game Engagement Tools suite

(AsiaGameHub) –   RubyPlay, a studio-based, layered content ecosystem, has introduced its new suite of Engagement Tools, starting with Missions and Tournaments. These are uniquely centered on in-game events to boost session play and player retention for global operators.

This launch marks a significant change in designing player engagement. Departing from the common market approach focused on broad wallet-level activity, RubyPlay’s innovative tools more deeply and intuitively connect players to the core game.

Missions is a gamification feature enabling operators to design custom campaigns where players achieve specific in-game objectives for immediate rewards.

Tournaments adds a competitive element, allowing operators to set up structured, time-limited contests. Players accumulate points by activating important in-game events, like landing high-value symbols or triggering features. Similar to Missions, this tool functions as an inherent component of the gameplay, not as a separate add-on typical in the sector.

Both Engagement Tools will be implemented throughout RubyPlay’s entire game portfolio. All studios in its ecosystem, such as RubyPlay Studio, Koala Games, Mad Hat Games, xSlots, and Firerose, will be able to incorporate Missions and Tournaments.

This creates a cohesive and expandable metagame engagement layer across a broad proprietary content library, providing operators with a uniform and seamlessly integrated tool for any title they use.

Initial testing of the Engagement Tools suite has shown strong success, with early data indicating measurable gains in session depth, repeat visits, and player activation.

Tsachi Maimon, Chief Executive Officer at RubyPlay, said: “Our objective in creating the Engagement Tools was not to place an extra promotional layer over the game. It was to reinforce the game experience itself.

“Many engagement systems in the industry are based on wallet activity or general player behavior. We chose a distinct path by constructing Missions and Tournaments around actual in-game events—the moments players are already engaged with during slot play.

“This fosters a more pertinent and natural experience for players, while equipping operators with a potent method to encourage longer sessions, improved retention, and more profound engagement across RubyPlay’s complete content ecosystem.”
